The stroke adjustment of CNC bending machines is mainly achieved by adjusting the control system and mechanical parts of the machine.
Stroke adjustment via CNC system
Enter the control panel: open the control system of the fully automatic CNC bending machine and enter the operation interface.
Find the stroke setting: find the stroke-related settings in the menu of the CNC system, which are related to the lower knife position, upper knife position or mold stroke.
Adjust parameters: adjust the stroke value as needed. It involves setting the maximum movement range of the upper or lower mold. Make sure that the value setting is reasonable to avoid the machine hitting the mold or failing to bend normally.
Save settings: After adjustment, save the settings and exit the settings interface.
Mechanical limit adjustment
Check the travel limit switch: The travel of high-quality CNC bending machines is usually controlled by mechanical limit switches. Check whether the limit switches of the upper and lower dies are correctly installed.
Adjust the travel limit switch: Adjust the position of the limit switch as needed so that the upper or lower die can move within the required range. Make sure the limit switch works properly to avoid damage to the machine due to excessive bending.
Adjustment through hydraulic system
Hydraulic oil pressure adjustment: CNC hydraulic bending machines that use hydraulic system to control stroke need to check whether the pressure of hydraulic oil is appropriate and adjust the pressure of hydraulic system as needed to control the stroke of upper die.
Adjust stroke control valve: There are special stroke control valve machines that control the descent depth of upper die or lower die by adjusting the switch of valve.
Test and Verify
After adjusting the stroke, test to ensure that the upper or lower die movement range meets the requirements and the machine can complete the bending operation normally. If there is any abnormality, recheck the stroke setting and the position of the mechanical limit switch to ensure that it is correct.
If you need to adjust the stroke of the bending machine, you should operate according to the specific CNC bending machine model and operation manual. The adjustment method of each machine may be different, and referring to the instruction manual of the equipment is also an important step.
